I am Mohammed Elias. A student from Baghdad, Iraq who lived in diffierent countries and mixed with various populations since childhood. My global journey started when my parents and I escaped our home country Iraq and fled to Jordan, Syria, Iraqi Kurdistan, Turkey, and eventually arriving to Seattle, WA. Resettling in the United States as a teenager refugee, I started acheiving my dream of continuing my education.

Gladly, I grauduated high school and successfully made it to college until I got the opportunity of studying abroad in Florence, Italy in spring 2015. My pursuing major is Political Science. Minoring in Spanis as a fourth language is a personal interest especially that I have a plan of studying abroad in Costa Rica during summer 2016.
